Made it!
Perhaps record slow crossing of The Bay; after 6 days and 5 nights we finally arrived to North Spain in La Coruna. All well and everybody happy. The great Biscay experience deserves a longer post with pictures another day. Now we have to see how we manage to sleep in the calm of the marina...

Crossing of Bay of Biscay
Hi, Sanja hardened herself by taking a double-shot black tea without milk and off we go to La Coruña, starting in Waterford one hour ago. AAH! We estimate 4 to 5 days of open sea and will report back when we arrived. We are four on board (Sanja, Christphe, Alice, and me, Phil) and I'm happy to be more than two for a change. See you on the other side!

South Ireland, waiting for the weather
Kiwi is hiding from the gale roaring at the North Atlantic in a river estuary of Waterford in Southern Ireland.
While waiting for the 5 days weather window needed for crossing Bay of Biscay, we spend time on excursions inland, joining local yoga, small repairs on the boat (never ending).
Tonight happily Christophe and his barge mate Alice arrive to strengthen the crew with some expertiese on Biscay sailing and cheer up the spirits too!
