Sails are back!

Sailmaker in Finnsnes have fixed and reinforced the good old genoas of Kiwi. These sails will have to bring us out of Norway and to cheaper waters. Long time dream of a roling furler (and new front sails) will have to wait that the old sails are completely used up and we are in some more affordable country.

The toilet is occupied

One of the todoes before the trip, perhaps the hardest one, is to say goodbye to Elvin.  There is just no way he can join due to  toilet related challenges.

Sailing takes time

Concepts like time schedules and deadlines fit badly with sailing. Weekends and even summer holidays tend to be stressy for the sailor.
Winds come and go as they wish, they dont care when you have to be back. The darkness falls and the storm hits exactly when they shouldnt. The tidal currents are always against you on Sunday evening.

How about giving it a year. See how sailing can be when there are no Monday mornings.
